A dedicated partner
Your business is important to us, so at the initial meeting you will always be dealt with by a partner or senior manager with the relevant specialist knowledge. If you choose to instruct us as your accountant and business advisor, this partner will become your Engagement Partner and will be your main point of contact for future meetings and enquiries.

Changing accountants
If you want to move to Ashgates from an existing accountant, we will write them a polite letter to explain your wish to instruct us instead, using an agreed protocol between accountants. The letter will also seek to establish that there are no professional reasons why we should not act for you and arrange for them to pass on any relevant information about your accounts.

Simple set up
If you are already in business, we will need a copy of your most recent accounts and we may also ask for references. In addition, current legislation requires us to obtain proof of your identity, so we will need to take a copy of your passport and a utility bill.
